Hmm…just taking note of this rather useful link from the lovely Flapjack.

Christmas was a bit of a washout. We came down with the gastric flu that poor Ceej had in the days leading up to Xmas day. I woke up with the most awful diarrhea, and we had to cancel our visit to Granny P, in case we infected her and her entire retired community. Ceej was absolutely fine, and was quick to get the hang of this present thing. So, we spent the day itself groaning and drinking lots of tea. Boxing Day was better, because Granny S cooked her gorgeous roast lamb, and dosed me up with sloe gin. Whatever’s in sloe gin put paid to any lingering virus in my gut because I was fine on Monday.

We replayed the Granny P visit, which went without a hitch, and went to see Bill Bailey in the evening. Wonderful, hilarious evening. The seductive soul hits sung in a West Country accent, and the Hokey-Cokey Kraftwerk-style were particularly pants-wetting.

  1. Ah I found you! And have added you as a friend (lord knows what the point of that particular facility is but my page looked all empty in that section…).
