I’ve been neglecting to add new blogs to my list here.
Back to Iraq is a blog written by journalist travelling independently to Iraq. He has raised the money from readers of his blog who will also get to act as his news/commissioning editors. Chris (the journo) promises to seek out the worm’s eye view stories from the front. It’s a really interesting experiment in using a blog as an outlet for serious, reader-led journalism.
Where is Raed is the blog that everybody’s talking about. Like most things on the web, you can’t be completely sure that the writer is really who he says he is; but if he isn’t, he’s a damn good liar.
Warblogging is a general site dedicated to reporting the war from an quite openly sceptical standpoint. As it is with more advanced blogs than mine, reader discussion is encouraged.
